The
tradition of Đuro Đaković Strojna obrada begins in 1926. by building space for
locomotive production, where over the years the production of positions for
trams and construction machinery has also developed.
In the
following decades, investments were made by investing in the purchase of new
machines, which influenced the expansion of production programs and the
expansion of the market.
The most
common production programs were railway, production of wheelsets and related
components, and production of well heads - special heavy fittings for control
of oil well sources.
After 1970 there is a development of
production of mechanical power transmissions, gears and reducers, which in
addition to the metallurgical program makes a large part of production and have
their market in the former USSR.
In the
1980s, the railway program was developed and serial production of wheelsets was
contracted, and until 1990, 260 pieces were produced. Today, railway program accounts for 53% of the
total realization of ĐĐ SO.
Turbulent
times began in the early 1990s and there were changes in ownership and market
disruption.
The current
ĐĐ SO was founded in 2002, the company's activity is based on machining service
and specializes in the production of power transmissions.
The railway
program makes half of production, followed by the production of power
transmissions and oil valves. In recent years, there has been investment in the
production program of renewable energy sources, the development of pelleting
line for pellet production from wood biomass.
